Noah's Paws team at Romeo Middle School spent the day at MCYC- now get this MCYC stands for Michigan Christian Youth Camp- Yep CHRISTIAN! And he goes to PUBLIC school go figure- Now mind you, I do not have a problem with it just find it Ironic, that they can not pray or talk about God in school but can attend a FULL plus day at a Christian Camp ground. :)
Anyway, the day was designed to spend time doing activities that City kids( if you can call Romeo kids, city kids) do not get to normally take part in.
There was a low ropes course and challenge activities, designed to help with team work, listening skills, cooperation and responsibility
leather making skills were taught and experimented with.... (Noah thinks he mike like to try this activity a little more, so Grandpa Dave if you have any of these tools save them for Noah:)
And I think my favorite was by far, the horse back riding. We left school about 8:30 am and returned about 5:30 pm. A day well spent with my son and I would not trade it for the world.
Mabey Memories
.
The desire of my heart is to become the person God dreams of and share those dreams with others; to unleash personal and corporate creativiy within the church, overflowing it with passion and freedom while searching for the face and character of God.
