The NFL experience

Throughout this season, the NFL has celebrated the history of the Super Bowl as it turns 40. I think this household has watched every game this year. The Super Bowl has always determined the the NFL's season champion, and this year Detroit is the very proud host. One of the top events of Super Bowl week is the aptly named NFL experience. A must see, at least one time, attraction offers a unique opportunity to get inside the game. Fans of all ages and genders:) can run, throw, catch, and kick like the pros. Among the unique experience is the Super Bowl Card Show, where you can enjoy memorabilia and collect free autographs from current and former NFL players. A big hit for our family was Card Wars at the TOPPS booth. The City was all decked out in lights last night. As we drove down Jefferson ,on the water, and looked out toward the river ,Hart Plaza was filled with people and lights, perhaps the best of Detroit was available last night for it was also the first night of "Winter Blast" where one cold visit the city and do some ice skating at Campus Mauritius Park, of course visit Cobo Center for the NFL experience, ride the People Mover from the renaissance Center, ride the giant Luge slide, raost marshmallows in the streets and much more.

For a family of 4 boys and a sports card collector dad this night was well worth it.
