What is it?A Romeo Bulldog varsity football game devoted to raising awareness and funds to fight cancer.
When?Friday, September 18 vs. Fraser
What to expectVarsity players will raise money to buy a special pink jersey with an honorary cancer survivor/victim's name on the back. This person will also be featured in a special program. Pink t-shirts will be sold to advertise, raise money, and provide entry into the game.
Why Pink?Pink has been chosen because it is a readily identifiable color for cancer awareness, most notably breast cancer. But the game is not limited to raising awareness for breast cancer alone.
The intent is to provide funds for a variety of worthwhile cancer charities.
