Mabey Memories

.
The desire of my heart is to become the person God dreams of and share those dreams with others; to unleash personal and corporate creativiy within the church, overflowing it with passion and freedom while searching for the face and character of God.

Hello from The Bridge

This past week we met for the first time in the Romeo Community Center at 361 Morton Street. If you need directions for future Sundays, take 32 Mile Road west off of M-53, go through town, and make a right on Morton Street about 1/4 mile past Main Street. We had a great service together as we continue to get to know each other and acquaint ourselves with the building. We will meet one more time this Sunday to settle in before our grand opening on September 24th. We are looking forward to a great Sunday. Please let someone who doesn't have a church home know about us. Our web-site address is http://www.lifeoverthebridge.com/. They can also email me at
matt@lifeoverthebridge.com. I hope you are reading my weekly devotional either through email or on the web-site. If you know of anyone who would like to receive information on The Bridge, feel free to send us their address, so we can add them to our mailing list.
We are still searching for items to assist us with our initial needs. We need everything from coffee and snack prep items to nursery toys and furniture. Let us know if you can help us with this.
A great step we have recently taken is the donation and purchase of a projection system and a computer program that will allow us to project our songs, announcements, and sermon outline for The Bridge. Jason Garvan and Angelo Trevato are hard at work learning the program and hardware. They are doing an awesome job and will be ready for the 24th.
Please continue to pray for the development of the ministries of The Bridge. We are searching for the right ministry opportunities to make an impact on children, youth, young adults, and hurting people. We want to reach out to these groups in our area. We have met so many over our time here, and know that a church that seeks to reach them will flourish.
Thanks for praying for The Bridge.

Hope to see you on the 24th.

Matt and Joelle
