We have lived here for 13 years now and have never gone to Tillson street on Halloween. This year Matt was gone so the boys and I decided it was time to do something different. After giving candy out in our own neighborhood for an hour we took off downtown. What a shock! It was packed- we parked at Celebrationz hair salon and walked across the street- on Halloween the roads are closed because there are so many people. I had no idea! The decorations were great- if you are from the area you will appreciate the bulldog grave yard! Hysterical! There were even t shirts printed "I survived Tillson street". We had a good time the weather cooperated and and we created a new memory!
Mabey Memories

The desire of my heart is to become the person God dreams of and share those dreams with others; to unleash personal and corporate creativiy within the church, overflowing it with passion and freedom while searching for the face and character of God.

Happy Birthday Aaron!
WOW- He is 14 years old, seems like only yesterday but a whole lot bigger, at the last appointment for a physical in August he was 5 foot 11 and 155 pounds. A far cry from the 6 pounder 21 inches I delivered
We celebrated Aaron's birthday in conjunction with all the homecoming festivities this year!
After the game most of his 8th grade football team came over for a bonfire and smores, a walk through the cornfield in our backyard((hence the baseball bat, bunch of scardy cat football players afraid to walk in the cornfield themselves)) and a sleepover- it seems Aaron has a lot of friends:) we sent out 10 invitations and 23 boys showed up plus a few girls:) the girls we promptly sent home- and Aaron had a little explaining to do as well as a little apologizing to some very sweet girls (mom just isn't ready for that yet)
The cake below was moms attempt at a brownie football cake- tasted great just did not look a whole lot like a football huh?

Dear Romeo High School Students/Parents/Guardians:
This is an informational letter regarding the situation that took place on October, 9, 2007 at the Romeo Engineering and Technology Center. Per district policy, all students and staff were safely evacuated due to a written bomb threat. The written threat stated that the bomb will be going off on 10-12-07.
Please be assured that the district is following all crisis response procedures and protocols. Macomb County Sheriff deputies and the K-9 Unit responded to the call on October 9th. A search was completed and the building was cleared by the officers. This letter is also to inform you of several procedures that are taking place during the remainder of the week, to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
The Macomb County K-9 unit will be returning to the building to complete an additional search prior to students’ and staff arrival on Friday morning.
All students entering the building will be subjected to a search of their belongings (backpacks, book bags, purses, coats, etc…).
School administration would like to encourage students to not bring any bag(s) or large purse(s) into RETC, to assist in expediting the search of the students.
This is a matter that Romeo Community Schools takes very seriously. School personnel will be investigating this situation and those responsible will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. As always, the safety of our students and staff is our primary concern. It is important that parents discuss the seriousness of this matter with their children so that everyone understands the severe consequences for this action. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school.
Sincerely,
Michael Kaufman Amy Gole
